This paper emphasizes the experimental and numerical study of new cob mixes used for insulation load bearing wall elements. The provides complete datasets thermal properties walling materials, using with density ranging from 1107 kg/m3 to 1583 structural walls less than 700 kg m−3 walls. Various French soils fibres (reed, wheat straw, hemp shiv, flax straw) different water contents are studied. lowest average conductivity is obtained mix prepared 5% straw 31% content. mix, 25% reed content, has conductivity.
